1/1/2006 ================================================================ Title : High and Dry Filename : pjw4dm1.pk4 Author : Pat "pjw" Williams Description : Q4 FFA (or TDM or Tourney) map ================================================================ * Play Information * - Make sure you have the latest Quake 4 point release installed. - Unzip the contents of pjw4dm1.zip to your Quake4\q4base folder * Description * Game type : FFA (Tourney/TDM) Player load : 2-8 Respawn spots : 12 Weapon load : SGx2, RLx2, LG, NG, HB, RG, GL Item load : RA, YA, MH, Quad (in FFA and TDM) I worked on this map off and on for a long time, and I think it turned out pretty well, after a lot of fighting with performance and drawcalls. :) I tried to go for a somewhat different feel than most of the maps that shipped with the game, and the RG area was an eleventh-hour inspiration. I decided that finishing it up was a decent way to start off the new year. I hope you like it. * Author * Name : Pat "pjw" Williams E-mail: pjw@planetquake.com Home : http://www.planetquake.com/pjw * Copyright / Permissions * This level is (c) by Patrick J. Williams (2006). I don't know what I'd do without you, but I'd sure be a lot more bored and miserable doing it. * * * * * * * * Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. That people are basically good. That honor, virtue, and courage mean everything; that money and power mean nothing. That good always triumphs over evil. That true love never dies. Doesn't matter if they're true or not. A man should believe in those things anyway. Because they are the things worth believing in. -Hub McCann
